Peter Vesterbacka and Kustaa Valtonen have joined the Algiz Advisory Board and are also becoming part of the company’s ownership program. Together, they bring decades of experience in international technology, company scaling and building global networks.
For us, this is much more than a new partnership. It is a strong validation that people with experience from some of the world’s most recognised technology companies see the potential in what we’re building.
Two Leaders with Global Experience
Peter Vesterbacka is widely known for his role in the global success of Angry Birds and as one of the driving forces behind Slush, one of the world’s leading startup and investor conferences. In 2011, he was named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
Kustaa Valtonen is a serial entrepreneur, investor and strategic advisor with previous leadership experience from companies including Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft. Throughout his career, he has helped build, grow and scale technology companies internationally.
From Alta to an International Market
Algiz was founded on a simple idea: to make it easier and safer for employees to ask for help when they need it.
The result is a discreet personal alarm button, connected to a mobile app, that enables employees to quickly alert colleagues during threatening situations or any other incident where immediate assistance is critical.
Our solution has now been launched and is already being used by customers, and we are continuing to expand both in Norway and internationally.

An Exciting New Chapter
As we continue to strengthen our international network, we are also expanding our organisation.
This October, our first Head of Sales will join the team in Oslo, and we are currently recruiting our first in-house Technical Lead / Software Developer. Together, these additions represent the next important step in Algiz’s journey.
