How is the alarm connected to my phone? The alarm connects to your phone via Bluetooth. This means the alarm and your phone should be close to each other during the workday (up to approx. 10 meters). As long as your phone has Wi-Fi or mobile coverage, alerts can be sent — both indoors and outdoors. This allows Algiz to work even when you’re on the move, travelling, or visiting users. Can I use the alarm while I’m on the go?Yes. This is one of the key benefits of Algiz. As long as your phone has coverage, the alarm works whether you’re in corridors, outdoors, on home visits, or moving between buildings. Can the alarm be triggered accidentally? We have chosen a button resistance that prevents the alarm from being triggered by small movements or light contact. If it is activated unintentionally on rare occasions, you can quickly cancel the alert in the app.How do I know the alert was sent and that help is on the way?The app can provide sound or vibration feedback when the alert is sent, and a separate notification when a colleague has confirmed that they are on their way. You can choose which notifications best suit your work situation. How do colleagues know who needs help? When an alarm is triggered, colleagues can clearly see who sent the alert. They can quickly coordinate in a shared chat — ensuring support reaches the right place. How long does the battery last? The battery lasts for several years with normal use. When it eventually runs out, it can be easily replaced. Can I use Algiz privately? We are working on a dedicated version for private use. It has not been launched yet, but it’s coming. Let us know if you would like to be notified when it becomes available.
