2. Processing of personal data in the Algiz app

Types of data processed

When you use the Algiz app, the following data may be processed:

‍a) User data
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number

‍b) Event data
- Time of alarm activation
- Which users were notified
- Normally deleted after 3 months

‍c) Location data
- Location is only recorded when an alarm is triggered and stops when the alarm ends
- Messages are end-to-end encrypted (E2EE), meaning only the sender and recipient can read the content
- Automatically deleted within 24 hours after the event is completed

‍d) Message logs
- Messages between users related to an alarm event
- Messages are end-to-end encrypted (E2EE), meaning only the sender and recipient can read the content
- Algiz AS does not have access to the content of the messages
- Conversation messages are not automatically deleted in the app
- Storage is necessary for documentation and system functionality

Purpose of processing

The data is used to:

- enable alarm functionality
- coordinate assistance
- document alarm events
- ensure stable and secure operation of the service

Storage and deletion

- User data is stored as long as the customer relationship is active
- Event data is normally deleted after 3 months
- Location data is automatically deleted within 24 hours
- After termination of the customer relationship, users may request deletion of their personal data

Algiz AS establishes and maintains procedures for:

- deletion after termination of customer relationships
- deletion upon request
- regular review of stored data

3. Roles, responsibilities, and limitations in relation to healthcare services

For business customers, the organization will normally be the data controller for personal data relating to its employees. Algiz AS acts as a data processor in accordance with a data processing agreement.

Algiz does not process medical records and shall not be considered a healthcare service or medical device.

4. Information Security

We have implemented technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Restricted administrative access
- Access granted only to authorized personnel with a legitimate business need
- Logging of access and changes
- Procedures for handling potential security incidents

The development team does not have direct access to production data. Only personnel responsible for operations, troubleshooting, and security have limited and controlled access.

5. Data Processors and Technical Service Providers

Algiz AS is the data controller.

‍We use technical service providers as data processors, including:

Webflow – operation and hosting of the website algiz.no
Google Firebase – technical platform for the Algiz app, including storage, authentication, and messaging functionality
Helmes – development and technical operation of the solution

Data processing agreements have been entered into with our service providers in accordance with the GDPR. These agreements regulate the processing of personal data and ensure adequate data protection and information security.

6. Dine rettigheter

You have the right to:

- request access to the personal data we hold about you
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- request deletion of your personal data in certain situations

Algiz is a support tool for alerting and coordination, but cannot guarantee the prevention of injury, health incidents, or loss of life.

The service depends on several factors beyond the control of Algiz AS, including:

- Mobile network coverage and internet connectivity
- Power supply, battery status, and technical availability
- User actions and response time
- External systems and third-party services

Algiz AS therefore cannot be held liable, within the limits of applicable law, for consequences resulting from missing alerts, delayed responses, or technical failures.

The solution is not intended to replace an employer’s health, safety, and environment (HSE) responsibilities, internal procedures, training, or other safety measures, but rather to serve as a supplementary tool.

Website Orders

These terms apply to the registration of orders placed via algiz.no.

The purpose of the form is to collect contact information so that Algiz AS can follow up on the inquiry and clarify needs before entering into a binding agreement.

Ordering and Contact

By registering an order, you consent to Algiz AS contacting you to clarify scope, needs, and practical arrangements.

A final and binding agreement is considered concluded only once the order has been confirmed in writing by both parties.

Prices

Prices as stated on the website apply at the time of ordering (in Norwegian kroner, NOK):

Alarm device: NOK 799 per unit
Monthly subscription: NOK 129 per user per month

Any volume-based pricing, special requirements, or additional services will be agreed upon through dialogue prior to entering into a binding agreement.

Use of Personal Data

The information you provide in the order form is used solely to:

- contact you
- process your inquiry
- prepare a potential offer or order

The information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes and Cancellations

Requests may be freely amended or cancelled until a written order confirmation has been issued.

Reservations

Algiz AS reserves the right to contact you before accepting an order if there are circumstances that affect pricing, availability, or delivery conditions.
